If you run a construction or renovation business, you know that dealing with waste is part of the job. However, while clearing it out of the way is necessary throughout or at the end of a project, there are better ways to manage it such as hiring a construction waste disposal company rather than simply driving it all to the landfill.
There are a couple of reasons you might end up with a bunch of junk while building. One is that you may have overestimated how much materials you would need to complete a job, meaning you have a pile leftover. There’s also the waste created by demolition, which is necessary often in order to build something newer and better.
The good news is that while a lot of this waste ends up in landfill, it doesn’t have to when you partner with construction waste removal services. Common construction waste such as concrete – which accounts for more than 65 percent of it according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) – can be re-used and recycled.
